Meet Rose Archer

Rose has lived in Bend for the past 20 years. Over that time, she has been fortunate enough to be a part of a community of residents who genuinely care about our town and its people. Rose has always been in businesses that serve the health and well-being of people. First, as a chef serving gorgeous, healthy food at her catering company that she started in her 20s, then as a health coach and cooking teacher through her online cooking school. Rose’s passion for being in service of people living as healthy as possible has been infused in everything she does.

Her interest in laser therapy began a few years ago when she tore a ligament in her elbow due to years of overuse without the proper strength to support her long work hours and active lifestyle. For the following 1.5 years, Rose had continuing pain in both elbows. Rose tried many different healing avenues, including steroid injections, PRP, PT, acupuncture, chiropractic, strength training, massage, and countless topical products and arm braces.

All of it helped, but nothing stopped the daily pain and the restricted lifestyle Rose was experiencing. Rose’s chiropractor recommended she try laser therapy. Within four sessions, Rose began to feel less pain, and by the end of her 10th session, she felt no more pain. Rose has been pain-free ever since. This has enabled her to increase her strength training, ensuring that Rose uses actual muscles to support her work and play and not overuse her bones, ligaments, and tendons.

That experience left Rose intrigued with laser therapy and all the possibilities of this tool, using laser therapy as a truly regenerative medicine. The idea that we could heal our bodies as we go through life to reduce the need for extreme surgeries, body pain, and reduced mobility later in life was very exciting to her. Rose began learning everything she could about laser therapy. After two years of reading, studying, and talking with professionals, she knew she wanted to make this her offering to her community.

Rose got her certification in laser therapy from AIMLA (American Institue of Laser Applications) and began mentoring under Cathy, the woman who helped her with her elbows!

Rose holds certifications in Medical Laser Safety, Scientific Basis of Medical Lasers, General Laser Therapy Principals, and Deep Tissue Laser Therapy for Trigger Points and Fascia.

Rose spends her free time with her 12-year-old son, Aidan, and their dog, Taco.
